look what I made: the leaf crown

So I don't profess to be a sewer....errr, seamstress (see?) but I decided to give this project a real honest try, cause it's just darn cute and an amazing use of these gorgeous yellow leaves.  Turns out I really really stink at the "simple" whip stitch, which maybe I'm thinking I shouldn't have tried for the first time on leaves.  I did sew the entire crown though, it's a good thing you can't see it super close... ;)

Here's my little dark eyed beauty sporting her fall royal-ness.  I'm totally doing this every year... maybe next time I'll use staples ;)
