sweet smelling roses

Kyle and I were enjoying a quiet cool evening on the patio last night with a few ice cream cones (delicious ones) and I looked up in disbelief to see a gorgeous pink rose rising up from our fence. I immediately asked Kyle, "are those our roses?" They were!! They most definitely were! I was so excited I immediately ran for the scissors and a vase and snipped off three beautifully perfect flowers.

They are now sitting snuggly in our bookcase.  Good heavens I love this house.
